Fun Times Ahead for the Premier

It all comes down to the next three games for the Dallas Premier and their hopes of repeating as Big Sky South Champs. On Saturday they must beat the Oklahoma Alliance, then follow that with a win against Tulsa on Sunday. That would give the Premier 14 points with one game to go versus Ft Worth on Friday the 16^th of July. Anything less than that and they are out of the playoffs. If the Premier is sitting with 14 points after this weekend, Oklahoma Alliance must be sitting with less. Anything other than that and the Premier are out of the playoffs. Ft Worth will be in a position where they must win both games in Oklahoma also. The two Metroplex teams can help each other by sweeping the two Oklahoma teams this weekend which would then put everything on the line the last game of the season in Ft Worth. For the Premier, whose only loss on the season was a 1-0 loss to Oklahoma in their Home Opener at UTD, finding a way to score is the goal. If their defense performs like it has all season one goal may be enough but two would almost be a certainty as the Premier defense has not given up more than one goal in game all season. Head Coach Brian Flanagan is looking forward to the game and this weeks preparation after visiting the WPS All Star game June the 30^th in Atlanta. �I think we are just going to concentrate on having fun again. The girls have been enjoying themselves but they may not have been having fun. There is a difference. I want to make it fun for them again.� Owner and General Manager Paul Marshall, who also attended the All Star Game as a guest of the WPS as he works to bring the WPS to Dallas commented, �We as a team and organization all know what is on the line, I think that everyone wants to do well and win, but I think that these ladies need to relax, have fun and just play. Every thing will take care of itself. We are all proud of the ladies and I appreciate each and every one of them. They are a great group of young ladies.
